Modify Columns
- In the Job Estimate, click on the ‘Show/Hide Columns‘ icon
- Click on the column names to toggle between showing or hiding the columns, then click ‘Close‘
Estimate Table Glossary
The table has the following columns, which can be hidden.
Column Name | Description |

Unit | The unit of measure for the quantity. |
Type | Resource type, e.g. labour or material. |
Total | Quantity * Factor * Rate * (1 + Item Markup) * (1 + Resource Markup). |
Template | The Estimate Item Template the item is based on. |
Rate | Item rate. Expression calculator available. |
Quantity | Item quantity. Quantity can be entered directly or provided using the Quantity Table. Expression calculator available |
Qty to d/t | Quantity claimed to date. |
Q*F | Quantity * Factor. |
Price | Rate * (1 + Item Markup) * (1 + Resource Markup). |
Prev. Qty | Quantity claimed in previous periods. |
Prev. % | % claimed in previous periods. |
Prev. Cost | Cost claimed in previous periods. |
Prev. $ | Amounts claimed in previous periods. |
Note | An additional note. This field is not included into the customer-facing reports, such as quotes and invoices. |
Factor | An optional multiplier for the quantity. Expression calculator available |
Description | Item description. |
Cost | Quantity * Factor * Rate. |
Cost to d/t | Cost claimed to date. |
Code | Item code. |
Claim Qty | Quantity claimed for this period. |
Claim % | % claimed for this period. |
Claim Cost | Cost claimed for this period. |
Claim $ | Amount claimed for this period. |
+ % | Item markup. |
+ R% | Markup for the resource type. This markup is the same for all items of the same type in a job. |
% to d/t | % claimed to date. |
$ to d/t | Amounts claimed to date. |
